Cremation Services of Polk County

Cremation Services of Polk County is a cremation service in Winter Haven, Florida, located seven blocks south of the Downtown Winter Haven Historic District. The business provides direct cremation arrangements for families in Polk County and the surrounding region.

Cremation Services of Polk County was established in 2010 by Dave Lane Holt. The business operates from a storefront facility on 1st Street South, serving families who prefer a straightforward cremation process without funeral or memorial service components.

Cremation Services of Polk County does not operate an on-site crematory, does not offer chapel or service space, and does not provide reception facilities. Pet cremation is not available. Families seeking funeral services, visitation, graveside services, or memorial ceremonies are served by other providers in the Polk County area.

Families consistently note that staff managed the full administrative process — including death certificates and government notifications — reducing the coordination burden during an already difficult time.

Cremation is performed at Monarch Crematory, a company-owned cremation care facility in Haines City dedicated specifically to cremation services. The care center is owned by the same organization as Cremation Services of Polk County and staffed by company employees.  In the event that cremation equipment is unavailable, cremation will occur at another location.
