El Dorado Funeral & Cremation Services - Placerville

El Dorado Funeral & Cremation Services is a funeral home in Placerville, California, located in the Cedar Ravine neighborhood within walking distance of Historic Downtown Placerville. The location serves families in Placerville and the surrounding El Dorado County area. Core services include burial services, cremation services, memorial and funeral service planning, pre-need planning, and human composting through a partner provider.

The facility at 1004 Marshall Way was built in 1976 and has undergone recent renovation to include contemporary funeral service amenities. El Dorado Funeral & Cremation Services was established in 2017.

The facility offers identification viewings and private viewings on-site.

El Dorado Funeral & Cremation Services does not operate an on-site crematory or cemetery, does not include a chapel or reception space, and does not offer pet cremation services. Families requiring on-site chapel or reception accommodations are directed to other providers.

Families frequently identify individual staff members by name in reviews, and consistently describe a process characterized by clear communication and efficient coordination from initial arrangements through completion.

Cremation services are performed at company-owned facilities in the Sacramento area. El Dorado Funeral & Cremation Services is part of a network of locations that includes its own cremation infrastructure — so families choosing cremation here work directly with our staff throughout, rather than being transferred to an independent third-party provider.  In the event that cremation equipment is unavailable, cremation will occur at another location.
