Funeral Alternatives of Washington - Centralia

Funeral Alternatives of Washington - Centralia is a funeral arrangement center in Centralia, Washington. It is part of Funeral Alternatives of Washington, a family of funeral home locations serving the South Sound area. The location is situated in the western section of downtown Centralia, across the street from George Washington Park. The Centralia location serves families throughout the region as an arrangement center, coordinating burial services, cremation services, pre-need planning, and ash scattering assistance. Memorial diamonds, human composting, and aquamation are available through partner providers.

Funeral Alternatives of Washington was founded in 2002 by Clair Ferris, a second-generation funeral director, and his wife Sharon Ferris, with the original flagship location in Tumwater, Washington. The Centralia location opened in 2014 as the third location in the Funeral Alternatives of Washington family.

The Centralia location operates as an arrangement center without an on-site chapel, service room, or crematory. Families work with staff to plan services at a location of their choosing, with cremation and other service needs fulfilled through the Funeral Alternatives of Washington network.

Funeral Alternatives of Washington - Centralia does not offer on-site funeral or memorial services, reception space, or pet cremation. Licensed grief therapy and legal or estate planning services are not available at this location.

Families frequently name individual staff members in reviews and specifically note ancillary support — including slideshow creation and obituary writing — as meaningful parts of the arrangement process.

Cremation services are performed at our Lacey location, a Funeral Alternatives of Washington funeral home with an on-site crematory. Families choosing cremation through Funeral Alternatives of Washington - Centralia remain in the care of Funeral Alternatives staff throughout the process.  In the event that cremation equipment is unavailable, cremation will occur at another location.
