Steele's Family Funeral Services

Steele's Family Funeral Services is a funeral home in Winter Haven, Florida. The location serves families across Winter Haven and the surrounding Polk County region with burial services, cremation services, funeral and memorial services, pre-need planning, ash scattering assistance, and human composting through a partner provider.

Steele's Family Funeral Services was established in 1996 by Bill and Susan Steele, both third-generation funeral professionals. The business has operated in Winter Haven for nearly three decades under founding family leadership.

The facility includes a chapel, private viewings, identification viewings, and overnight visitations.

Steele's Family Funeral Services does not operate an on-site crematory or on-site cemetery. Pet cremation, licensed grief therapy, and legal or estate planning services are not offered.

Families at Steele's Family Funeral Services frequently recognize individual staff members by name in reviews, and consistently highlight the team's transparency around service options and pricing — as well as the availability of flexible payment arrangements and after-hours support during the arrangement process.

Cremation is performed at Monarch Crematory, a company-owned cremation care facility in Haines City dedicated specifically to cremation services. The care center is owned by the same organization as Steele's Family Funeral Services and staffed by company employees.  In the event that cremation equipment is unavailable, cremation will occur at another location.
