It is part of Adair Funeral Homes, a family of funeral home locations serving the Tucson, Arizona metropolitan area. The location serves Tucson, Green Valley, and the surrounding areas. Services include burial services, cremation services, funeral and memorial services, pre-need planning, reception and catered events, ritual washing, incense burning, veterans services including military honors, ash scattering assistance, and certified celebrants. Memorial diamonds are offered through a partner provider.
The Dodge location was founded in 1957 by Arthur J. and Martha J. Adair and is the original Adair Funeral Homes location. Arthur Adair entered the funeral industry in 1938, working at Tiedje Funeral Home in Tucson before establishing the Dodge Chapel, which opened on February 16, 1957, at 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. Following Arthur's death in 1973, Martha Adair assumed leadership of the business and became the first female president of the Arizona Funeral Directors Association. For decades, the business remained family-operated, involving the Adairs' four children and, eventually, their grandchildren. The location holds active contracts with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Pima County, and other government agencies.
The facility includes a chapel with seating for up to 150 guests, a reception and event space, and private rooms for identification viewings, private viewings, and witness cremation. An on-site crematory allows cremation arrangements to be made directly through this location. Spanish-language services are available.
Adair Funeral Homes – Dodge does not operate an on-site cemetery. Pet cremation, licensed grief therapy, legal or estate planning services, and human composting are not offered at this location.
