Since its establishment in 1993, Affordable Mortuary has provided tailored services to families in Butte, Glenn, and Tehama Counties. Our experienced, compassionate, and bilingual (Spanish) staff is dedicated to guiding you through every aspect of the funeral process. Conveniently located with easy freeway access from Highway 99, our facility is well-equipped to accommodate visitations, memorial services, or funeral ceremonies. Our certified celebrants and veteran funeral specialists bring expertise and understanding to each service. - Includes all of the essential services of the funeral director and staff.
- Removal and transportation of your loved one to the funeral home (within a 30 mile radius of the funeral home).
- Care of your loved one until cremation is complete.
- Cremation process and return of ashes.
- Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.
- All the necessary permits and authorizations. State filing fees are not included.
- Free self-service online obituary.
- Many other optional services available - including celebration of life event planning, traditional funeral service, on-site catering, scattering assistance, and more - at additional charge.

Vanessa, the funeral director at Affordable Mortuary, was so great to work with. She was kind, professional and very responsive. She is knowledgeable and did all she could to keep our funeral and burial timely and provided us with a good experience during a very sad and stressful time. Mindy and Elliot made our experience the best it could possibly be. I’m very grateful Affordable Mortuary staff was so compassionate and handled things with care.
