Amador Memorial Cemetery

Our Information

Peaceful Memorialization since 1983

Amador Memorial Cemetery is a cemetery in Pioneer, California, situated on California State Route 88 between Pioneer and Buckhorn, serving families in Amador County and the surrounding Sierra Nevada foothills region. The cemetery offers burial services, funeral and memorial services, pre-need cemetery property, cremation gardens and niches, and private and family cemetery lots.

Established in 1983, the cemetery is located along a historically significant corridor. The route now designated as State Route 88 evolved from a Native American trade route in use for approximately 10,000 years into the Mormon Emigrant Trail in 1848, and later became the Amador-Nevada Wagon Road in 1862 — a toll road that connected California's Gold Country to Nevada's Comstock Lode silver mining region. The cemetery operates in coordination with Amador Hills Cremation & Funeral Service, a funeral home serving the Pine Grove area.

Amador Memorial Cemetery does not operate an on-site crematory. No chapel, service room, or reception space is available on the grounds.
