Ross Adamson and Reed Adamson purchased the business and renamed it Adamson Mortuary. The Adamson family operated the location for decades — notably, Ross Adamson served as Weld County Coroner for 28 years, and the brothers operated the only ambulance service in Weld County from 1949 to 1968. In 1998, the business expanded to its current west Greeley location with newly constructed facilities. Following a change in ownership in 2007, the downtown location closed and the 47th Avenue address became the sole Adamson location. The business has operated under its current name, Adamson Life Celebration Home, since 2018.
