Highland Memorial Park

Highland Memorial Park is a cemetery in Ocala, Florida. It is part of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, a family of funeral home locations serving North Central Florida.

Founded in 1936 by J. Miles Hiers, Highland Memorial Park is a 55-acre perpetual care cemetery established with the intention of creating a park-like setting where cemetery and funeral home services could serve the community in coordination. It is the only gated memorial park in Marion County. The grounds include a natural pond, majestic oak trees, and maintained gardens designed to provide a peaceful setting for visitors. The Heritage of Faith Mausoleum Complex offers indoor, outdoor, and private estate mausoleum options. The Garden of Freedom's Heroes is a dedicated section for veterans and their families. Most of the park utilizes flush markers to maintain a manicured appearance, with the exception of the Hillcrest section, which permits marble monuments.

The facility includes indoor and outdoor mausoleums, family and private lots, and build-to-suite cemetery property. Burial services, pre-need cemetery property, funeral and memorial services, and veterans services including military honors are available. Cremation services are available through other Hiers-Baxley locations.

Highland Memorial Park does not operate an on-site crematory, chapel, or reception space. Funeral and memorial services requiring a service room or reception facility are coordinated through affiliated Hiers-Baxley funeral home locations.
