Rost Funeral Home is a funeral home in Mountain Home, Idaho, serving the surrounding communities. We are known for our local knowledge and experience and for supporting families of diverse religious and cultural traditions.
We provide burial services, cremation services, funeral and memorial services, pre-need planning, and assistance with ash scattering. An on-site crematory is available.
Our Mountain Home location includes a large chapel and dedicated areas for identification and private viewings. We coordinate arrangements with local cemeteries and service providers as needed. We do not operate a cemetery on-site and do not provide pet cremation, licensed grief therapy, or legal or estate-planning services.

- Includes all of the essential services of the funeral director and staff.
- Removal and transportation of your loved one to the funeral home (within a 30 mile radius of the funeral home).
- Care of your loved one until cremation is complete.
- Cremation process and return of ashes.
- Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.
- All the necessary permits and authorizations.
- Free self-service online obituary.
- Many other optional services available - including celebration of life event planning, traditional funeral service, on-site catering, scattering assistance, and more - at additional charge.

Our family was very pleased with the assistance we received when our father passed away. From the time they picked him up from my home we were treated with respect and kindness. They contacted the VA for us, made the necessary arrangements with an out of town cemetery, and assisted with writing the obituary and posting it on the Legacy website. They were very comforting and helpful during a difficult time.
