Rapp Funeral & Cremation Services

Rapp Funeral & Cremation Service is a funeral home established in 1982 in the Fenton Village neighborhood of Silver Spring, Maryland. The location provides burial services, cremation services, funeral and memorial services, pre-need planning, reception and catered events, veterans services including military honors, certified celebrant services, kosher catering, and memorial diamonds through a partner provider.

The facility includes an on-site chapel, reception and event space, and accommodations for identification viewings, private viewings, and overnight visitations. Shomer services are available. Spanish-speaking staff are on site to assist families.

Rapp Funeral & Cremation Service does not operate an on-site cemetery or on-site crematory. Pet cremation, licensed grief therapy, and legal or estate planning services are not offered.

Cremation is performed at Chesapeake Crematory, a company-owned cremation care facility in Beltsville, Maryland dedicated specifically to cremation services. The care center is owned by the same organization as Rapp Funeral & Cremation Service and staffed by company employees.  In the event that cremation equipment is unavailable, cremation will occur at another location.
