Atkins-Northland Funeral Home

Atkins-Northland Funeral Home is a funeral home in Cloquet, Minnesota, serving the families of Carlton and South St. Louis counties. We are known for our long-standing presence in the community and for providing professional, knowledgeable guidance to families making arrangements.

We provide burial services, cremation services, funeral and memorial services, pre-need planning, reception and catered events, celebrations of life, and assistance with ash scattering. We also accommodate multicultural funerals, including incense burning and ritual washing when requested.

Our location includes a large chapel, reception space, and dedicated areas for identification and private viewings, with overnight visitations available. We do not operate a cemetery or crematory on-site and do not provide pet cremation, licensed grief therapy, or legal or estate-planning services.

Cremation services are performed at a company-owned crematory in the Duluth area. Both facilities operate under common ownership, which means care is provided by employed staff at a company-owned facility — not transferred to an independent third-party provider.  In the event that cremation equipment is unavailable, cremation will occur at another location.
