Valley Memorial Park

Valley Memorial Park is a cemetery in Hillsboro, Oregon. Valley Memorial Park is co-located with Valley Memorial Funeral Home, a full-service funeral home operating on the same grounds. The park, established in 1958 on land previously farmed by the Carothers family — an early Washington County family with roots in the area dating to the 19th century — serves the surrounding Washington County communities. Services include burial services, cremation services, funeral and memorial services, pre-need cemetery property, veterans services including military honors, and ash scattering assistance.

In 2005, Valley Memorial Park became the first cemetery in Oregon to receive certification from the Green Burial Council for eco-friendly interment options. The property encompasses 40 acres, of which 15 are currently developed, and includes a six-to-eight-acre lake. A large modern-style mausoleum was constructed on the grounds between 1958 and 1969.

The facility includes a mausoleum chapel, interior and exterior mausoleum spaces, a cremation garden with niches, and a dedicated Catholic cemetery section. Identification viewings and private viewings are accommodated on site.

Valley Memorial Park does not operate an on-site crematory. Pet cremation and pet burial are not available.
