Lienkaemper Funeral Chapel – Ontario is a funeral home in Ontario, Oregon, serving the surrounding communities. We are known for our long-standing presence in the community and for providing professional, knowledgeable guidance to families making arrangements.


We provide burial services, cremation services, funeral and memorial services, pre-need planning, body donation coordination, and assistance with ash scattering. Human composting and memorial diamonds are available through licensed partner providers and are not performed on-site.


Our Ontario location includes a large chapel, and Spanish-speaking staff are available. We coordinate arrangements with local cemeteries and venues as needed. We do not operate a cemetery or crematory on-site and do not provide pet cremation, licensed grief therapy, or legal or estate-planning services.

  • Cremation process and return of ashes.
  • Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.
  • All the necessary permits and authorizations.
  • Free self-service online obituary.
  • Many other optional services available - including celebration of life event planning, traditional funeral service, on-site catering, scattering assistance, and more - at additional charge.

The staff was so amazing, we had a cremation funeral plan in place that did not include a viewing. My husband passed away when I was out of town and I wanted to see him one last time. They graciously got him ready for me to spend time with him. I am so thankful that I worked withh Leinkampers for my husbands passing.

Everyone at Lienkaemper Funeral Chapel that I have ever interacted with has always been amazing. They were so helpful in my Mother in-law's time of need when she lost her husband, and a few years later they assisted us when she lost her brother. Both times they interacted with the highest degree of professionalism and empathy so when I lost my husband to cancer it was no question who we would turn to.
