Nitardy Funeral Homes - Whitewater is a funeral home with an on-site crematory located in Whitewater, Wisconsin. It is part of Nitardy Funeral Homes, a family of funeral home locations serving south central Wisconsin. The Whitewater location was established in 2007 when Nitardy Funeral Homes constructed a purpose-built facility in the city — the organization's first location in Whitewater and the site of its first on-site crematory. The facility was built under the third generation of Nitardy family ownership, extending an organization founded by Hilmar A. Nitardy in Johnson Creek in 1932.


The Whitewater facility includes a chapel, offers witness cremation, and accommodates both identification viewings and private viewings.


This location does not offer on-site cemetery services, pet cremation, licensed grief therapy, or legal or estate planning services.

On May 9th My wife June and I attended the Mothers Day Memorial Service at Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson. We wish to take this opportunity to thank Noah and his attending staff for doing an excellent job in presenting the memorial service honoring the mothers and grandmothers of the attending families. The service was done in a very dignified manner as befitting a special event such as this memorial service. The planning and execution of this special event, along with the accompanying light lunch afterwards was very well received by June and I, and we are sure of the other attending families. I can’t thank Nitardy Funeral Home enough for the care, compassion, and professionalism they showed my family during such a difficult time. From the very first call, every staff member treated us with kindness, patience, and genuine empathy. They guided us through every detail of my brother’s funeral with respect and understanding, making sure everything was exactly as we wanted. The service was beautiful and heartfelt — a perfect reflection of his life. We are so grateful for their support and the peace they helped bring to our family.
