Andrea L. Black, wife of Jerry E. Black, passed away at home on Sunday, May 27, 2018. She was born May 23, 1944 in Shelby, Montana. She was the daughter of the late Andrew “Andy” Gillies and the late Louise Kraft, both of Montana. Andrea loved her friends and animals, especially her dog “Baby Girl”. Survivors include 2 sisters: Bev Weinch of Chehalis, WA and Debbie Sampson of West Richland, WA; 2 daughters: Lorissa Newhouse and her husband Tom of South Chesterfield, VA, Jessica Ward and her husband Kelly of Bonney Lake, WA; 1 son Patrick Black and his wife Nikki of Snohomish, WA; 3 grandchildren: Alec Elliott of Puyallup and Luda and Landon Ward of Bonney Lake, WA. Graveside service will be held Friday, June 1, 2018, 1:00pm at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup. In memory of Andrea Black, the family requests that those wishing to make a donation, to direct those to the Lewis County Animal Shelter of Chehalis, WA in her memory.
