Angela Wilson Beller

Angela Wilson Beller, 69, of St. Petersburg, died at her residence on Saturday, May 15th. She was born June 15, 1951, in Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida, and was the daughter of Dorothy Hailey Wilson. She attended Northward Elementary School, both Meadowlawn and Riviera Junior High School, and graduated from Northeast High School in 1969. Angela graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College in 1972, with an Associates Degree in Executive Secretary. She was a member of the Alpha Beta Chi Sorority and was licensed in 1972 by the State of Florida as an Insurance Agent. In 1980 Angela moved to Tamarac, Florida., and pursued her insurance career in Coral Springs for The Halland Insurance Agency, Inc. and later the Halland Companies, Inc. She previously worked for Van Dyke Insurance Agency, Inc. in Seminole, and Hull & Company, Inc. in the St. Petersburg Branch office for a total of fifteen years. In 1982, she moved back to St. Pete and was a full time homemaker, a family historian for over 25 years and enjoyed cross-stitch and needlepoint. She is a member of the Alpha Beta Chi Sorority, a member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church. Angela is survived by her daughter and her husband. Hailey Elizabeth Purcell (Beller) and Jared Purcell, Atlanta, GA: her son and his husband, Christopher Jason Beller and Justin Vieira, Fort Lauderdale, FL; 2 grandchildren, Adam and Alexander. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her brother Wayne H. Wilson of St. Petersburg. Entombment will be in the Garden of Memory Mausoleum at Memorial Park Cemetery. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service at Memorial Park, 5750 49th Street N. St. Petersburg, FL. Saturday May 22nd at 2PM In lieu of flowers, memorial funds have been established in her name at the Multiple Sclerosis Society, in Orlando, Florida, 2701 Maitland Center Pkwy Unit 100 Maitland, FL 32751.
