Anne Rebecca Fitch, 69, of Yuba City, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at The Fountains from complications of Dementia and Parkinson Disease. She was born July 12, 1944 in Yreka, California to William A. and Alice Rutledge. Anne attended grade school in Hilt and Hornbrook, California. Anne attended high school at Yreka, California. Anne received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Chico State and her Lifetime Teaching Credential from the University of California, Davis. Anne spent the last 43 years in Yuba City involved in her many activities which included Christian Women's Connection, Christian Assistance Network, Red Hat Ladies, and many more. Between all of this she enjoyed her five grandchildren and going out to lunch and to prayer coffees with her many friends. Anne had a special gift of remembering everbody's birthday and anniversaries. Many commented on how they could always count on a card from Anne on these special days. Her life was shared with her husband of 47 years, Larry Fitch of Yuba City, son John Fitch and wife Jamie of Sutter, daughter Michele McCloud and husband Roah of Yuba City and son Nathan Fitch of Marysville. She is also survived by her sister Mary Lee Rutledge of Eureka, and brothers David Rutledge of Redding and John Rutledge of Ashburn, VA. A service to celebrate Anne's life will be held at River Valley Christian Fellowship, 1764 Tierra Buena Road, Yuba City, CA on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations can be made in Anne's name to Yuba-Sutter Young Life, PO Box 344 Yuba City, CA 95992 or to A Woman's Friend, 616 E Street, Marysville, CA 95901.
