Art Doty 1941 to 2011 Art Doty passed away June 22 to be with his Lord. Art was born September 12, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the son of Robert Delvar Dotty and Myrtle Clara Van Buskirk. Art retired from the Pima County Sheriff Department. He was a member of The Teamsters Union. In his early years he enjoyed Brahma Bull riding. He was a Cowboy at heart. He enjoyed horseback riding, camping, boating, and traveling. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth "Libby" Doty. Daughter Ashley Doty of Tucson. Grandchildren Andres, Jayden, & Hailey Daughter Jamie ( Kraig) Vurggink of Michigan. Granddaughter Riley Step Son Sean Mc Kenney. Grandchildren Alicia,Zada, & Jeremy of Tucson Sister Peggy (Bill) Staufer of Salt Lake City, Utah Sister Dorothy ( Glen) Pace of Sandy, Utah Sister Sandy Clemens of Oregon Sister Alice (Tom) of Monroe, Utah Mary Jenkins of Texas Brother Henry " Hank" (Shauna) of Salt Lake City, Utah Art was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Myrtle, his brothers Robert "Bob", and George Doty Contributions can be made to Holy Way Presbyterian Church, 4040 S. Bilray Avenue, Tucson, Az. Memorial service for Art will be Monday June 27, at 1PM at The Tucson Estates # 2 Clubhouse at 5700 W. Lone Star Drive. Cross Streets are Kinney Road to Tucson Estates Parkway.
