Barbara Mildred Bebb, 81, passed away Friday, October 4, after a short illness. Barbara was born April 18, 1938, in Minneapolis, MN, to Mortimer Cerenus and Hazel Ione Peterson Lent. The Lent family later moved to Arizona, and Barbara graduated from Mesa High School in 1956. She attended Good Samaritan School of Nursing and graduated from Arizona State University in 1960 with a Bachelor’s Degree as a Registered Nurse. While attending ASU, she met and married Thomas Samuel Bebb, her husband of 48 years. Barbara is survived by her children; Thomas (Barbara), William (Nancy), and Jon (Kim) Bebb, and Angela (Chris) Gabbard, siblings; Dorothy (Robert) Schulz, Maurita (John) Strait, Don (Christine) and Jon (Diane) Lent, and 13 grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Gerald Lent, and sister Donelda (William) Vowles.
