A Time of Arrival: Beatrice Pauley Thames Wiley was born July 30, 1928 to the late Eli and Lucy Fox Pauley in Darlington, South Carolina. A Time of Departure: She transitioned into her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in the quiet morning of her home. A Time of Life: Upon moving to Charlotte, North Carolina she found employment with Harry & Bryant Funeral Service and retired after 20 years of service. She joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Reverend James Barnette, and the founder of Stop The Killing Foundation where she served as a faithful activist. At Mt. Zion she served in the Hymn Choir, Pastor Aide ( Now Seed Sowing Ministry ), Ushers and Mission Ministries. She was the founder of the Mt. Zion Gospel Choir. For a short tenure, she held membership at Galilee Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Jeffery Davis. Her Hobbies included cooking, gardening, fishing and loving her family. A Time to Cherish: She leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Larry Thames (Brandi), William Thames (Diane), Joseph and Johnny, Jr. Wiley, all of Charlotte, North Carolina. Daughters, Rosa Lee Pauley, Lena Mae Thames, and Corrine Wallace, all of Charlotte, NC. Three brothers, Elijah Pauley, Leslie and Barry Pauley, all of Darlington, SC. One sister Mamie Dixon (Ray) of Darlington, SC. Twelve grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and a lot of extended family including Galilee Church Family and Capitol Drive Family.
