GOHRKE, Bernice (McGregor), of Tucson died at age 91 on November 29, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Robert Gohrke; daughter, Sheryl (Steve) Pincus of Tucson; son, Thomas of San Diego; grandchildren, Raeann Chavez, Galina Clark and Vasya Pincus; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Bryce and Lincoln. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Katrina Ann "Katie" Clark in 1997 at age nine in an auto accident and her brother, Thomas McGregor of Canada. Mrs. Gohrke was born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, Canada to Dr. J. Bruce and Vida (Campbell) McGregor. She was a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and the University of British Columbia Graduate School of Social Work. She held positions as a social worker for a number of years in Canada, Philadelphia and Portland, Oregon. She was a longtime volunteer of the So. Arizona Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union and also for the Alliance for the Mentally III of Southern Arizona. At her request there will be no services. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
