Beverly Joan Morris of Ladson, passed away peacefully on February 3rd after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Beverly was the daughter of George and Jennie Townsend. She grew up and attended schools in North Charleston. Beverly met and married Robert Morris in 1961. They had two children, Robert and Melody. Beverly loved her children and was a proud grandmother to Robert, Lindsey, and Tristan and proud great-grandmother to Paige, Ava, Robert Lucian, and Charles Ray. She enjoyed working and the highlights of her career are being named Employee of-the-year twice at Lowe’s Home Improvement and being a loving caregiver for many lowcountry families. Beverly is survived by her children, a loving son-in-law Kenny, her grandchildren, a loving sister Jennie Bowen, and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Beverly was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and two sisters Georgellen Davis and Barbara Lucas.
