Berea, KY Billy J. Sexton, Sr., 74, died January 8, 2017. He is survived by his daughter Theresa Sexton of Georgetown; son Billy Junior Sexton, Jr.; sisters Donnie Courtright and Myrtle Clark; brother David Sexton; grandchildren Rachel Dillard, David Jackson and Andrew Jackson and great grandchildren Davin Keese, Ethan Dillard, Lucas Dillard and Logan Dillard. He is preceded in death by his parents Chester and Bertha (LeMaster) Sexton; sister Delena Osbourne; brothers Clarence Sexton, Cletus Sexton, Curtis Sexton, James Sexton and Perry Sexton and grandson Billy J, Sexton, III. Billy was a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a member of the VFW, DAV and The American Legion. In the private sector, he worked for the U.S.A.F. for 20 years and also as a Security Officer. Billy loved nothing more than spending time with his family while enjoying a good meal. Funeral Information There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends from 11-12:30 PM, Friday, January 13, 2017, at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, followed by his burial at Camp Nelson National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
