Brindy "Brenda" Nell Brickell, 85, died on December 6, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Brenda was born September 24, 1933 in Cadiz, Kentucky to her parents, Bermont and Helen Moore. They eventually relocated to Colorado Springs in her early childhood. Brenda married William "Bill" Brickell on September 16, 1957. They both began a business together called "Skyway Laundry" and operated it for years together while raising seven children. Brenda was very involved with her children, including attending every sporting event and PTA. She was the loudest and most supportive cheerleader in the stands. She was known as a mother to all that crossed her path and she raised them as her very own.Brenda loved her flower gardens, with her favorite being the daisies. You could always find her outside digging in the dirt, planting the new rose bush, watering and tending to all the flowers and tomato plants. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband; her mother and father; and her two brothers, Paul and Don Moore. She is survived by her seven children, William "Billy" (Dawn), Westley (Ruby), Guy (Lynette), Mary Helen (Ken) Boffey, Greg (Connie), Richard "Dicky", and Rebecca "Becky" (Tim) Crippen.
