Brooklyn Marie Thill, 6, of Greeley, CO passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 8, 2017 at Children’s Hospital in Aurora, CO. She was born on June 11, 2011 in Greeley to Nathan and Natalie (Chacon) Thill. From day one, Brooklyn was a princess. Her brothers held her on a pedestal. As she got older, her independence became quite evident. She was very bossy, but oddly enough around most people, she wouldn't speak above a whisper. She loved her babies and always had one with her along with a blanket and baby bottle. As soon as she went to kindergarten talking to people was no longer an issue. Brooklyn talked all the time. She loved everything pink and unicorns. Her smile could light up the biggest room with ease. She loved school more than anything and was always working on crafts, being creative and reading books. Brooklyn was famous for taking art to her teachers every single day, or making get well cards for people she barely knew. She loved going to the zoo and loved catching frogs while Daddy and the boys fished. She loved going to her brothers sporting events, and she always found friends to play with while she was there. She was Mommy's girly girl who loved her nails done, hair braided and makeup on. At the same time she was Daddy's girl who loved to sing, dance, and be so silly. She would beg to watch princesses one minute and Jurassic Park the next. She was a pro at Snapchat- she would send many back to back but never the same one twice. She wanted to grow up and be a doctor or a veterinarian. She loved and cherished her family and friends and always tried to take care of everyone. In her six short years, she has definitely made this world a better place. She is survived by her parents, Nathan and Natalie Thill of Greeley; brothers, Christopher Thill, and Justin Thill; sisters, Destiny Thill, and Jayla Thill; grandparents, Tammy Hermance, John Chacon Jr., and Debra and Gabriel Pedraza; great-grandparents, Jan Smith, and John and Mary Chacon; aunt, Nikki Chacon (Cody); uncles, Michael Chacon, James Hermance III, Benjamin Thill (Kelli), Michael Thill (Danielle), James Thill and Cody Pedraza (Teresa); and numerous other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Kenneth Thill; and great-grandparents, Dean Smith, Richard and Lillian Thill, and John and Susie Saenz. A Life Celebration Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Journey Christian Church, 4754 W. 31st Street, in Greeley. Memorial contributions are suggested to "Brooklyn M. Thill Memorial Fund” in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at adamsoncares.com.
