Dale Edward Pitman was born on January 1, 1943, in St. Louis Missouri to Clarence and Mildred Pitman. Years later the family would relocate to Phoenix, Arizona. He had a love for baseball at a young age and was a talented player. However, he enlisted in the United States Navy after high school. His career spanned 20 years of service to Southeast Asia in support of the Vietnam War. Throughout his life Dale helped many people and even saved a few migrant lives. He was also a part of the mission to rescue POW John McCain, who went on the become a Senator. While stationed in Asia he met his first wife Mei Lee which brought to the world two beautiful children, Sharon and Clint. With life changes and surviving near death experiences He met his second wife Vichitra which brought yet another beautiful child Canyon. Through Vichitra, He gained a bonus son Victor. After retiring from the Navy, Dale became a real estate photographer and Rancher. Although Dale had many titles throughout his life, Father and Grandfather were his favorite. A couple of years ago Dale was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer. He fought and often found strength from his youngest grandchildren whom he made sure to see every weekend. Due to medical conditions worsening and no chance of improving, Dale was taken off life support and took his last breath on June 19, 2024, at the age of 81. Dale leaves a beautiful legacy to be continued through his 3 children: Sharon, Clint, and Canyon and their spouses. Seven grandchildren: Steven, Kayley, Christy, Megan, Arianna, Avi and Arielle. Lastly his beloved dog Shorty. Dale is greatly loved and missed.
