Dallas Eugene Wetherington, 86, of Ocala passed away at his residence on Monday, November 19, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. A native of Lax, Georgia, Dallas has lived in Ocala for many years after moving from Ft. Lauderdale. He retired as a Sales Manager with Broward Fire Equipment. Dallas is preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Meadows) Wetherington; a son, Dallas Wetherington Jr., daughter, Katrina Alvarez and great granddaughter Violet Cain. Survivors include his wife, Lillian of Ocala, daughters; Michele (Michael) Cain of Jacksonville, Florida, Jennifer (Thomas) Sayward of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Melissa (Michael) Brown of Lima, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on November 24, 2018 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, TimberRidge, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, FL, 34481. A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00PM.
