Fort Valley, GA- Daniel L. Jacobs, Jr. passed away on September 11, 2013, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 16, 2013 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, September 15, 2013, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Rev. Wayne Searcy will officiate. Mr. Jacobs was born in Macon, GA on November 21, 1955 to the late Daniel and Mary Ellen Jacobs. Mr. Jacobs was supervisor over maintenance for the Cherry Tree Hill Apartments. He served in the United States Navy. Mr. Jacobs was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David Wayne, Sr. and Lee Marvin, Sr. Survivors include- his wife, Tina Jacobs of Ft. Valley; sons, Derrick Jacobs and Franklin Jacobs both of Ft. Valley; grandchildren, Khloe and Kadence Jacobs both of Ft. Valley; and brother, Paul Jacobs of Lakeland, FL. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
