David Jeremy Amick

David Jeremy Amick, 40, of Lexington, passed away May 19, 2018 in Lexington. He was born on July 10, 1977 in Gilbert, South Carolina to David and Donna Wood Amick. Jeremy loved his family and always put them first. He was a hard worker and friend to many. He never met a stranger and would help them any way he could. He loved to work on vehicles. He also loved to bring home what his wife called trash and turn them in to repurposed treasures. David is survived by his wife, Stacie; son, Treyton Amick; father, David Amick; mother, Donna Moyle; grandmother, Imogene H Amick; mother in law, Sharon Archer; sisters, Jessica Smith (Scotty), Jolene Alexander and Pebbles Moyle; brothers, Jonathan Amick (Taylor) and Joshua Amick (Mandy); along with many loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jamie Amick; Poppa Don Wood; great grandmother, Ruby Wood (maternal); great grandmother, Eva Pearl Keiser (paternal). Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church in Gilbert, SC. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Thompson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
