Denver M. Hoffman, Sr.
January 18th, 1932 - December 28th, 2022
Denver Max Hoffman, Sr. “Joe” (90) of Gaston, South Carolina, passed on December 28, 2022. He was born on January 18, 1932 in Stryker Ohio, son of the late Harry and Beatrice Hoffman. He was retired after 22 years of service with the United States Marine Corps (GySgt E7) and was a Korean War Veteran. After retirement, he was employed at Columbia Industrial Supply and retired (15 Years). He was a lifetime member in the Marine Corps League (Speedy Wilson Detachment). And also a member in the Band of Brothers. He was husband of his late wife, Martha Jane Hoffman of Phenix City, Alabama. Survivors include, daughter Vickie Hoffman Crider (Phil) of West Columbia; sons, Denver M. Hoffman, Jr. (Brenda) of West Columbia and David Mark Hoffman of Gaston, South Carolina. Three grandchildren, Kristi Hornsby, Brandy Knight and April Fulwood and 4 great grandchildren and 2 great grands that preceded him in death and his siblings. He was loved by many and will be missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marine Corps League Speedy Wilson 1141, 123 Gibson Road, Lexington SC, 29072, 803-892-3066.
