Donald George Anderson
December 1st, 1945 - November 5th, 2023
Donald Anderson, age 77, passed away on November 5, 2023 in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he resided for only a year. Before moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado Donald lived in Billings, Montana for over 42 years. Donald was born on December 1, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Bernard Anderson and Josephine Ravelette Anderson. Don proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1969. After his honorable discharge he worked for Greyhound and upon his retirement, with his love for baseball, volunteered as a baseball/softball umpire. Donald was an avid sports fan, with his favorite teams being the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs. Preceded in death by son Scott T. Anderson, and brothers Stephen and Dennis Anderson. Those left behind to honor Donald’s memory are daughter Debbi Bryan, son-in-law Mike Bryan, son Gregory Anderson, sister Mary Ferrigno, grandchildren Alex Anderson, Shane and Faith Bryan, great-grandchildren Noah and Adrian Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews. A military memorial service will take place on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 10:00AM at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO 80925.
