Dora Alberta Mays, 96, of Yuba City, CA, passed away October 17, 2017. Born August 19, 1921, in Gorman, TN, she was a homemaker and life long resident of the Yuba-Sutter area. Dora is survived by her sons, Oscar Mays, Matthew Mays and Michael Mays; daughters, Bulah Mays, Frances Mays, Annie Anthony and Margaret Mays; brother, Frank Mays; 36 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Mays; sons, Mark Mays, Joseph Mays and James Mays, Jr.; and five brothers. Services will be held 11am, Monday, October 23, 2017, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St., Yuba City, CA. Immediately following services, a celebration of life will take place at Christian Gospel Center, 2479 North Beale Road, MSVL, CA.
