Doris Ham, 78, of Ocklawaha, FL, passed away on April 14, 2024. She was born in Coolidge, GA to her late parents, Ollie and Ambers Ragan, and had a career as a customer service representative in insurance. Doris graduated from Plant City High School in 1964. Doris was known for her fun and outgoing personality. She loved her church (First Baptist Ocala) and cherished her relationships with people. Her hobbies included gardening, a passion she held dear. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Raymond Ham; sons, Tony (Melinda) Ham, and Chris (Wiebke) Ham; grandchildren, Ashley (Austin) Buchanan, Carsten Ham, Lucas Ham, Mathis Ham and Helena Ham; great-grandchild, Luke Buchanan; sisters, Dorothy Ham and Deborah Archer; and brother, Curtis Ragan. Doris was preceded in death by her sisters, Edna Stimmer, Joann Redish, Katherine Kilmer, and her brothers, Charles Ragan, Larry Ragan, Timothy Ragan and Kenneth Ragan. A Celebration of Doris's life will be held on May 2, 2024, 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Ocala, FL. Lunch will be served at 12:00 PM (All invited). Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice. Doris will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is now in heaven with a new body. Praise God.
