Dustin D. Montanez 40, died after a long battle with depression on March 4th 2023. He was born on March 19,1982 in Chicago Illinois to Albert Montanez Sr. and Laurie Rivera. Dustin spent most of his childhood years in the Bronx before settling in Syracuse NY where he worked various food service jobs. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with loved ones over a warm cup of coffee.with his bright smile and a laugh so contagious he would light up any room. He will be truly missed by all who loved him. He is predeceased by his fatjher and daughter, Maria.. Surviving are sons Dustin Jr and Avion; daughters Analisia, Sa'dea, Alexana and Erika; siblings, brother Albert Jr.; sisters, Tabitha, Samantha and Geovanna; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew’s and cousins. Calling hoiurs will be Monday, March 13, 2023 from 10AM-12PM at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St. Syracuse NY 13205. Services will follow at 12PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Syracuse, NY
