Edward "Eddy" Strom was born June 1, 1970, and after a short illness, peacefully passed away February 12, 2022, at the age of 51. He was born in Hillsboro and lived most of his life in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area. Eddy was a protector, quick to throw his arm around you or give you a big hug. He was always supportive of others, never judgmental. He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar and keyboard, and loved to tell stories and jokes to make people laugh. He is survived by his sons Christian and David; Mother Jean; sisters Boni (Glenn), Brenda, and Marianne; brothers David (Heather) and Stephen (Doreen); 3 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He also will be missed by his dear friend and roommate, Richard, with whom he spent the last years of his life. He was predeceased in death by his father, Loyal Strom, and brother-in-law Keith Moisant. Eddy was well-loved by many and will be missed greatly. A small family gathering was held and a remembrance with friends and neighbors will be held at the Glen Tualatin Mobile Park clubhouse in Beaverton on Sunday, February 20th at 1:00 pm.
