Edward A Travis

Travis, Edward A., 89, born May 16, 1924 entered into eternal life on Sunday, August 25, 2013. He was born to Esther Archuleta and Tom Travis in Clayton, New Mexico. Mr. Travis is survived by his daughters, Edwina Flores and husband Bobby, Yvonne Anaya, Stephanie Martinez and husband, Johnny; grandsons, Patrick Travis, Dominick Anaya and Joseph Martinez; great-granddaughter, Thessaly Travis; brothers and sisters, Ernie, Abe, Savino, Cilo, Cecilia, Esther Marie and Dolores as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Mr. Travis is preceded in death by his mother, Esther; father, Tom Travis; sister, Juanita and brother, L. B. After graduating from high school Mr. Travis served seven years in the United States Navy and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after thirty years of service. All services will be held on September 4, 2013 in the chapel of Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, located at 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, beginning with recitation of the Rosary at 10:00 AM. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, followed by interment at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30. Pallbearers will be Patrick Travis, Dominick Anaya, Joseph Martinez, Lawrence Chavez, Robert Chavez, Louis Sanchez, William Stroud and Mike Trujillo.
