Elizabeth "Liz" M. Case

Elizabeth “Liz” M. Case, 66, of Amsterdam passed away unexpectedly Saturday October 17th, 2020 at her home. Born in Amsterdam, NY on December 31, 1953 a daughter of the late William C. and Beatrice L. Freer Case. She was a lifelong Amsterdam resident and attended the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School. Liz was a homemaker who took great care of her family. She enjoyed being with her entire family that includes her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Family was everything to her. Liz enjoyed listening to music and talking about her grandchildren and making them feel loved unconditionally. She is survived by her loving children, Nancy (Robert ”Tookie”) Oare of Hagaman, NY , Shane (Shelley) Presley of Johnstown, NY, Sheri Wharry (Justin) of El Cajon, Ca, and Darla Wharry of Amsterdam. Her beloved sister, Nancy Case-Nicholas of Amsterdam. Cherished grandchildren, Julia, Nattiece, Brooke, Kendra, Bobby, Shane and Jahlon. Great grandchildren, Cam’ron and Amaya. Liz is predeceased by her siblings, Dorothy, William, Dolores, Richard and Ronald. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law, Robert A. Taylor. It was Elizabeth’s wishes to not have formal services.
