Elsie Rosalie "Lea" McKinney was born to the late Ronald Burl Sutherland and Mattie Anne (Harper-Sutherland) Kirby on November 1, 1958 in Killeen, TX. She departed this earthly life on March 30, 2019 in Orting, WA. Lea graduated high school in Farmington, NM where she met and married her true love. Lea was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a talented painter, and she was able to showcase her talents while working alongside her husband in their paint and body shops in Oklahoma, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington. Lea lived her life striving to help and love those around her. Knowing her meant loving her. Lea leaves to cherish her memories her husband Marty McKinney of the home; daughter Keri Watts, and husband Dominic; grandsons Sam, Shomari, Nick, and Jacob of Beaverton, OR; daughter Brandy Lawson and husband Robin; grandsons Justin and Brendan of Sulphur, OK; mother, Mattie Kirby of Killeen, TX; brother Richard Sutherland of Ardmore, OK; sister Kendra Barger and husband Brandon of Killeen, TX; and aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews. Lea was proceeded in death by her father, Ronald Sutherland, brother Burl Sutherland, and dad Lucky Kirby.
