Mementos

Eugene was born in Seattle, WA on Feb. 15, 1924 to Charles and Eugenia Lamb and passed away peacefully on Sept. 27, 2011 in Edmonds with his daughters by his side. Eugene was a veteran of WWII in the Navy serving as a pilot in the VC41 Squadron where he flew both Hellcats and Wildcats off a carrier. Following his service to his country, he worked for Pacific NW Bell, retiring after 30+ years of service. Being a snowbird, Eugene enjoyed playing golf in the winter in Arizona; and followed up by his enjoyment of fishing in the Puget Sound during his summers. He is survived by his daughters, Patty (Guy) Schoonmaker and Joanne Geston; three grandchildren and by five great grandchildren.
