Eutimio 'Timio' Perez Arevalo, 49, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011, in Salinas. Born in Yuriria, GTO, Mexico, July 8, 1961, he resided in Salinas for the past 31 years. He was a professional tow truck operator for USA Towing for almost ten years. Eutimio was committed and hard working. He was a family oriented dad who enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandchildren, and was always dedicated to their happiness and well-being. As a member of the industry of towing professionals, Mr. Perez Arevalo will have his name and date of passing permanently placed on "The Wall of the Fallen" to honor him and others who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. This will be done in September at the International Towing & Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Eutimio is survived by his wife, Yolanda Gomez Perez of Salinas, his daughters, Faviola and Maria Isabel Perez, both of Salinas, his sons, Jorge and Daniel Jesus Perez, also of Salinas. His parents, Fidel and Cecilia Perez of Mexico. He leaves his brothers, Arturo, Ricardo, Fidel, and Mario, and his sisters, Yolanda, Margarita, Abigail, and Carolina. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Gregory, Isaiah, Camilla, and Carlos. Eutimio also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. He will be dearly missed and will remain in the family's hearts forever. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
