Evelyn Inez Gibson

Evelyn I. Gibson, 94 of Port Charlotte, Florida went home to the Lord on June 7, 2017. She was born October 28, 1926 in Arona Pennsylvania to Ray and Mary Reamer as the second of eight children. She received her RN from Presbyterian University Hospital and married Robert Dingleberg soon after. They lived in Pittsburgh, PA until his death in 1970. She married Charles Gibson in 1972 and lived in Pittsburgh, PA, Southfield, MI and Highland, IN until his retirement in 1985. They then relocated to Punta Gorda where they enjoyed boating and traveled extensively. She is survived by her daughters Roberta Fidler and Marti Etter, sisters Mary Alice Stauffer (Larry), Sally Lash (Lowell) and brothers Barkley Reamer, Ray Reamer (Clara) and Ross Reamer (Frieda). She is also survived by three grandchildren Chad Wilson, Hunter Wilson and Lauren Etter and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date.
