Evelyn Romero, born on June 19, 1948, in Denver, Colorado, was called to her Heavenly home in Heaven to be with the Lord on May 30, 2024, in Englewood, Colorado. She was the cherished daughter of the late Solomon Romero and Rose Cordova Romero.
Evelyn diligently served in her career as a Food Preparation Specialist at a Nursing Home Facility, where she not only sustained the daily needs of the residents but also extended her care and compassion, bringing comfort to many. Her dedication to her work was a testament to her compassionate nature and her unwavering commitment to service.
Throughout her life, Evelyn was deeply loved by her family. She is survived by her siblings, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever cherish the moments and memories shared with her.
A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held to honor Evelyn’s memory on Friday, June 21, 2024. Family and friends are invited to gather and receive condolences at 10:00 am, followed by the service at 11:00 am at Romero Funeral ~ Chapel of Repose, 15150 E Iliff Ave, Aurora, CO. A reception will be held following the service at 1:00 pm at the Romero Reception Hall.
