Faye Hogan

Faye Coffin Hogan, of Merritt Island, Florida, passed away on June 22, 2019, at the age of 55. She was born in Hyannis, Massachusetts, and was the second daughter to Alfred Bryon Coffin, Jr., and Isabel Aitken Coffin. She graduated from Merritt Island High school in 1982. She graduated with honors from the University of Florida’s College of Pharmacy in 1987. She earned a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida in 2000. Faye worked as a pharmacist in Brevard County for over 30 years, displaying a wonderful skill for teaching others. Beyond her dedication to her profession, she enjoyed the beach, scuba diving, and spending time with her family. Faye had a kind disposition and a quiet tenacity that will be missed immensely. Faye is survived by her partner, Anthony Falanga; her children, Benjamin and Kaitlyn; her siblings, Joanne Coffin Johnsen, Alfred Byron Coffin III, and Juliet Isabel Coffin; as well as her nieces and nephews, Sam Snell, Carl Johnsen, Andrew Snell, and Jennifer Snell. Faye is preceded in death by Alfred Byron Coffin, Jr. and Isabel Aitken Coffin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The Tuckernuck Land Trust or The Orlando Health Foundation.
