Fernando F. Flores

Fernando M Flores passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on September 5, 2022. He survived by his wife Rosa Flores, daughters Delia Alvarez of Farmersville, Ca, Julie Flores of Salinas, Ca, and Jackie Hiracheta of King City, Ca, and his son Fernando Flores of Salinas, Ca. Fernando had five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Fernando was born on October 30, 1945 to David and Paulina Flores in Castroville, California. Fernando enjoyed caring for his yard, planting flowers, classic cars, lottery scratchers, and western movies. He was a long-time employee of the County of Monterey. He was preceded in death by his son Eddie Fernando Flores, his father David Flores Sr., his brother Tomas Flores and sister Jenny Flores. Visitation will be held at the Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 9 - 12 noon. A Rosary will be said at 10 AM Wednesday at the Mortuary followed by a Chapel Blessing Services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Salinas, CA
