Frank G. Serrao

Frank G. Serrao, 68, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at his winter home in Punta Gorda, FL. Frank was born to Frank & Dorothy Serrao in Hilo, Hawaii on June 23, 1945 and spent his winters in this area. He was the previous owner of The Coliseum Ballroom and Michael's Restaurant in Worthington, MN and the Countryside Inn Restaurant of Adrian, MN. He was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte, FL. Frank is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary; children, Frank III, Mary (Jamie) Wasko, Christopher, Joseph, John, Patrick, James, Stephen, and Dorothy; daughter-in-law, Ladean (David) Serrao; and 13 grandchildren. In addition, he is also survived by 5 sisters, Mary Lou (Bertram) Johnson, Dorothy (Daniel) Schneible, Elizabeth Serrao, Bernadette (Jeff) Brehm, and Catherine (Nick) Timoshenko. Frank was preceded in death by both his parents and his son, David G. Serrao. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.
