November 21st, 1937 - January 6th, 2016
Lt. Col. Frederick Basil Craig, 78, of Land O Lakes, Florida passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Wilma Gertrude Waller and Benjamin Otmer Craig. Fred attended Charleston High School and later attended Georgia Tech where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He served in the United States Marine Corps for 23 years. Fred was the Commanding Officer of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 312 in the Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team flying #6 in 1965 and # 2 in 1966-1967. Frederick is survived by his niece Cynthia Quinta and husband Loren and their children Ashton, Brandell, and Alexa. A memorial service with full military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery on Monday, January 18, 2016 @ 10:30 a.m. Semper Fidelis Uncle Fred!!!
