Gail Louise (Meyer) Taylor, age 77 of Woodstown, NJ, died May 20, 2021 in Venice, Florida. Born on January 11, 1944 in Elwood City, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Donald & Geraldine Meyer. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University, her Masters in Religious Education from Palmer Theological Seminary, and her Masters in Reading Education from Rowan University. Gail was an educator, teaching at the Mary Shoemaker Elementary School until her retirement. Gail loved to travel, practice yoga on the beach, play Mahjong, and sing in the church choir, and she was an avid reader. She was an active member and past president of P.E.O. Chapter EY. She was an advocate for peace and justice for all people. Gail was a loving and devoted wife of Howard Taylor for 52 years. She was the loving mother of Jennifer Taylor of Redding, CA and Laura Adams (Scott) of Sharptown, NJ. Grammy loved and adored her granddaughters, Ashley and Sydney. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Jackie Meyer, and her nephew, Clark. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Donald Meyer. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, June 12th in the First Baptist Church of Woodstown, 117 S. Main St. Woodstown. Friends are invited to visit from 10am until the time of service. Live stream fbcwoodstown.org to view the service if unable to attend.
