Gerald Medina Sr. Gerald “Jerry” William Medina Sr. passed away on September 15, 2022 in Denver Colorado at the age of 66. He was born on October 2, 1955 to William and Corine Medina. Jerry joined the United States Army at 17, and loved his time spent with the boxing team as a lightweight fighter. Jerry enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He lived true to himself and loved those around him with all he could. His beautiful laugh will be forever missed. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Johnny and Steve, and sister Patricia. He is survived by his children Gerald Jr. (Claudia), Daniel (Amie), and Martin (Becky); His brother Norbeto (Diana); 7 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held October 18, 2022 at 10:00 am at the St. Cajetans Catholic Church at 299 S. Raleigh St. In Denver, CO 80219 with a short service at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. A reception will be held immediately following at the Mile Hi Veterans Hall located at 1717 N. Federal Blvd. Denver CO.
