March 6th, 1957 - January 26th, 2011
“Gregory Guadelupe Veloz, 53, was preceded in death by his father Valentine Sr., mother Pauline, brothers John Sr. (Josephine), Valentine Jr. (Patricia), sister Emily Perez, and step-sister Amelia Cavazos, brother-in-law Bill Mitchell, brother-in-law Jesse Montanez. Greg is brother to Raymond (Mary), Angelina Mitchell, Mary Lou Fuentes (Santiago), Patricia Montanez, David (Gail), Frank (Carol), Vernon (Placida), Genevieve Shapiro (Robert), as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Greg loved the outdoors, loved animals, and was a great artist. He loved the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Denver Broncos. To Greg’s friends who were there for him- thank you and God bless you for being in his life and giving Greg a chance. Since Greg left us so unexpectedly, we never had our good-byes, and that hurts so much, but Greg will have his greatest welcoming in his next journey.
